EAEU: Adopted Regulation on the Reference Book of International Generic Drug Names

The Reference Book is to be included into the common system of regulatory and reference information of the EurAsian Economic Union.

The information included into the Reference Book is based on the lists of international non-proprietary names (INN Lists) published by the World Health Organisation.

As of 13 June 2018, the use of codified names from the Reference Book is required for all stakeholders implementing common drug circulation processes within the EurAsian Economic Union (EAEU). 

The Operator of the Reference Book is the authorised state organisation FGBU “Scientific Centre of Expert Assessment of Medical Products”.

The Reference Book is to be regularly updated by the Operator.
