As of 30 September 2017, manufacturers and importers of cosmetic and perfumery products are to use the revised list of standards in order to ensure presumed compliance with the Technical Regulation on the Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetics (TR TS 009/2011) and the revised list of compulsory standards prescribing testing methods and sample taking procedures for the same Technical Regulation.
Decision of the EurAsian Economic Commission Collegiate No. 110 of 29 August 2017 added a number of standards to the list of standards the use of which ensures compliance with the TR on Cosmetics. In particular, the Decision added the following standards:
- GOST 33489-2015 Perfumery and cosmetic products on carriers. General technical specifications;
- GOST 33488-2015 Perfumery and cosmetic products. Common criteria for the justification of claims used in relation to cosmetic products (based on the Commission Regulation (EU) No. 655/2013);
- GOST 32852-2014 Cosmetic oils. General technical specifications; etc.
The amendments aim to ensure more efficient compliance with the TR on Cosmetics.
