The proposed draft Decree would add several types of products and packaging to the list of products and packaging subject to the extended producer responsibility (EPR). In particular, draft Decree would add the following types of products and packaging to the list:
- Group 37 “Metallic finished products”
- Group 38 “Metal packaging”
- Group 39 “Polymer packaging”
- Group 40 “Paper and cardboard packaging”
- Group 41 “Glass packaging”
- Group 42 “Wooden and cork packaging”
- Group 43 “Textile packaging”
The maximum environmental charge rate for the added categories is 16304 roubles per one ton (for textile packaging) and the minimum – 2378 roubles per one ton – for paper and cardboard packaging.
The environmental charge for metallic finished products would be 2423 roubles per one ton.
