The Cabinet of Ministers by its Decree of 12.06.2019 N 498 amended the Technical Regulations on detergents.
The amendments clarified that the mark of conformity with the Technical Regulation (i.e. the Ukrainian national mark of conformity) is to be applied on the outer surface of the packaging or on the label of the detergent. In case the detergent is supplied unpackaged, the conformity mark is applied to the accompanying documents.
Conformity tests of detergents and surfactants included in their composition are to be carried out in accordance with the national standards of Ukraine, the list of which is approved by the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine.
For the conformity assessment of detergents Module A1 (internal control of production with testing of products under supervision) or module F1 (compliance based on product testing), which are defined in the modules of conformity assessment used to develop procedures, are to be used in order to evaluate compliance of detergents. The relevant conformity assessment module is to be chosen by the manufacturer or his authorized representative.
The decree comes into force 6 months from the date of its publication.
