As of 1 January 2020, manufacturers and importers of fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment are required to comply with the Technical Regulation on the Requirements for Fire Safety Equipment and Fire Extinguishing Devices (TR EAEU 043/2017).
The adopted TR applies to a wide range of products, including lifting platforms used for fire fighting, fire engines, fire extinguishing powder and foam, fire extinguishers, fire safety cabinets, etc.·
Products that conform with the adopted TR requirements must be marked with the EAEU conformity mark on each product.
Products subject to the adopted TR must undergo (depending on the type of product) either certification (modules 1c, 3c and 4c) or conformity declaration (3d, 4d and 6d).
The applicant for product certification may be a legal or physical person (entrepreneur) that is the manufacturer or its authorized representative duly registered in the EAEU territory.
