National standards GOST R 58473, GOST R 58474 and GOST R 58475 have been repealed before they could enter into force.
On 30 May 2022, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) published Order No. 424-st, according to which the introduction of the following national standards has been cancelled:
GOST R 58473-2019 Hazard classification of chemical products. General requirements;
GOST R 58474-2019 Warning labelling of chemical products. General requirements;
GOST R 58475-2019 Safety data sheet for chemical products. General requirements.
These standards were supposed to enter into force as of 1 June 2022. However, because interstate standards with the same names and on the same subject (GOST 32419-2022, GOST 31340-2022 and GOST 30333-2022), have been approved, a vote was held among the members of the Technical Committee TC 339 "Safety of Raw Materials, Materials and Substances". The Committee voted unanimously to repeal the duplicating standards.
