The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved technical regulations on eco-design requirements for various energy consuming products.
As of 21 February 2020, manufacturers and importers of office and household electrical equipment in Ukraine have to comply with the adopted ecodesign requirements. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved technical regulations on ecodesign requirements for the following products:
- electricity consumption by electric and electronic household and office equipment in the “standby”, “off” mode and the network “standby” mode;
- household lamps of non-directional lighting;
- television (TVs);
- household dishwashers;
- computers and computer servers;
- household washing machines;
- air conditioners and fans designed for personal comfort;
- water heaters and storage tanks;
- fluorescent lamps without integrated controlling devices high-intensity discharge lamps, as well as controlling devices and luminaires designed to work with such lamps;
- household ovens, hobs and cooker hoods.
