EEU: Amended forms of conformity certificates and declarations of conformity

The Eurasian Economic Commission Board adopted Decision No. 154 of 15 November 2016 on amending Decision No. 293 of 25 December 2012  on  the common (unified) forms of conformity declarations and conformity certificates.

The amendments replace the term "Customs Union" by "Eurasian Economic Union" and change the requirements pertaining to the content of conformity declarations and conformity certificates. The amendments also change the procedure for the submission of information by the organisations applying for conformity certificates and conformity declarations.

It is important to note that all forms of conformity certificates released before the 2016 Decision are to be used in parallel with the forms of certificates issued subject to the above until 1 January 2019.

Conformity certificates and conformity declarations that have been issued and registered before the 2016 Decision entered into force, will remain valid until their normal expiry date.

The amendments introduced by Decision No. 154 of 15 November 2016 entered into force on 22 December 2016.
