As of 4 September 2019, manufacturers and importers of certain products have to issue a declaration of conformity in order to be able to sell these products in the Russian Federation.
The revised product groups for which such a declaration is required as of 4 September 2019, include:
- aluminium crockery (excluding crockery specifically intended for children and adolescents);
- wooden balcony door and window blocks;
- aluminium balcony door and window blocks;
- cast iron crockery and cookware;
- cast iron cookware with enamel coating; etc.
Manufacturers and importers of these product groups are advised to review the list of products subject to compulsory conformity assessment in the Russian Federation to ensure compliance with the updated list.
