Russia: Amended lists of controlled narcotic and psychotropic substances and their precursors

As of 17 October 2022, the list of controlled narcotic and psychotropic substances in Russia changes to include additional substances.

The list of precursors that are prohibited in Russia (List I) has been amended to include the following substances:

1-(1,3-Benzodioxol-5-yl)-2-iodopropan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)propan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)propan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)propan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-(3,4-dimethylphenyl)propan-1-one
4-Bromo-2,2-diphenylpentanenitrile
2-Bromo-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)propan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-(4-ethylphenyl)propan-1-one
2,2-Diphenyl-4-chloropentanenitrile
2-Iodine-1-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)propan-1-one

The list of restricted precursors (List IV) has also been supplemented with a number of positions:

1-(1,3-Benzodioxol-5-yl)-2-bromohexan-1-one
1-(1,3-Benzodioxol-5-yl)-2-bromoheptan-1-one
1-(1,3-Benzodioxol-5-yl)propan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-(4-methylphenyl)butan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-(4-methylphenyl)hexan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-(4-methylphenyl)heptan-1-one
2-Bromo-1-phenylheptan-1-one;
etc.

The inclusion of a particular precursor into these lists means that it will be either prohibited or restricted in the territory of Russia.
