We would like to remind you about the important deadlines related to the introduction of the mandatory labelling of perfumes and toilet water in the Russian Federation.
Until 31 March 2020, market participants (importers, manufacturers, etc.) are required to register themselves in the centralised marking system.
As of 1 October 2020 it becomes mandatory for the market participants to provide identification marking on perfumery products produced and imported into the Russian Federation and to start transferring the information on the circulation of perfumery and eau de toilette (toilet water) to the centralised system called “Chestny Znak” (“the Honest Sign” in Russian).
Until 30 September 2021, it is possible to sell the remaining unmarked stock that was produced or imported into the territory of the Russian Federation before 1 October 2020.
