Rosprirodnadzor (the Russian environmental authority), has approved, by Order of 11/24/2016 №756, a number of measures to be performed in order to create the Common Environmental Polluters Register.
Also, the Order requires the environmental authority officials to provide assistance to companies and sole traders. In other words, the Rosprirodnadzor officials, are required to explain, upon request, what is an “environmental polluter”, what actions are required from environmental polluters and how to use the electronic registration service for environmental polluters. Another important point is that one registration application must be submitted for each facility that is an environmental polluter. Therefore, it is necessary to remember that it is not allowed to list two or more environmental polluters in one registration application.
