As of 6 November 2019, Decree clarifying which employees and specialists are required to receive advanced additional training in the area of industrial safety enters into force. The adopted Decree clarifies that the following categories of workers must receive such an advance training:
- employees responsible for the implementation of industrial supervision over compliance with industrial safety requirements by organizations operating hazardous production facilities;
- employees who are members of the certification commissions of organizations operating in the field of industrial safety;
- employees who are specialists performing field supervision in the process of construction, reconstruction, overhaul, technical re-equipment, conservation and liquidation of hazardous production facilities; and
- workers carrying out the functions of construction control during the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of hazardous production facilities.
The Decree also adopted a procedure for the certification in the area of industrial safety of workers subject to additional advanced training in the area of industrial safety.
