Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 21, 2022 No. 519 “On approval of the list of technological and laboratory equipment, its components and spare parts, as well as raw materials and materials, medical products and packaging materials that are exempted from customs duties” was adopted.
The document approved the lists of materials and equipment exempt from customs duties, which contain:
- raw materials and materials, medical products, packaging materials used for keeping laboratory animals, preclinical studies, production of medicines imported by pharmaceutical manufacturers, enterprises engaged in the wholesale sale of pharmaceutical products, specialized research institutes and higher educational institutions;
- technological and laboratory equipment, components and spare parts for them;
- "clean rooms", sandwich panels and ventilation systems for pharmaceutical production facilities.
If the goods are not used for their intended purpose within three years from the date of conditional importation into Uzbekistan, all customs privileges are to be cancelled.
The document was published in the National Database of Legislation in Uzbek language and entered into force on September 21, 2022.
