UKRAINE: Postponement of e-Excise Implementation to November 1, 2026
As of 4 January 2026 organisations placing sturgeon caviar on the market of Kazakhstan or exporting it from the country are required to comply with the adopted regulation on sturgeon caviar labelling.
The adopted regulation modernizes Kazakhstan’s system for labelling and tracking sturgeon caviar, strengthens compliance with CITES, digitizes the service process through the national e-government platform, and replaces all earlier versions of the labelling rules.
On 4 December 2024, the Decision of the EEC Board 135 of 2 December 2024 amending the list of standards to TR TS 021/2011 "On food safety" was officially published.

As of December 4, toy manufacturers and importers are to use a revised list of standards that give a presumption of conformity with the EAEU Technical Regulation TR CU 008/2011 "On the safety of toys" was officially published.
The EAEU Technical Regulation CU 008/2011 "On the safety of toys" applies in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.
As of 22 December 2024, importers and manufacturers of oil and fat products (including sunflower, olive and other plant oils, butter, mayonnaise, margarines, spreads and oil-based creams) are required to comply with the revised Technical Regulation on Oils and Fats (TR TS 024/2011) – subject to the transitional period of one year (i.e. until 22 December 2025).
he Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has been mandated to introduce supervisory measures over the registration in the national system – “Asl Belgisi”.
This registration is required for companies engaged in the retail sale of alcoholic and tobacco products, beer, medicines and household appliances, i.e. the goods that are subject to the mandatory digital marking / labelling.
As of 1 January 2027, manufacturers of organic food in Georgia are required to comply with the restrictions adopted by Technical Regulation on Approving Substances and Products Permitted to Be Used in Eco and Bio Production Processes.
As of that date, only substances listed in Annex 1 to the adopted Technical Regulation are to be used in organic production processes. The list includes sodium chloride, chitosan hydrochloride, talc (CAS 14807-96-6), etc.
