As of 1 February 2020, manufacturers and importers of tobacco products in Uzbekistan are required to comply with the adopted Technical Regulation (TR) on the Safety of Tobacco Products.
As of 1 April 2020, importers of flour and salt into Uzbekistan must ensure that all flour and salt are enriched with micronutrients. The amendment imposing this requirement was made to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated November 23, 2010 No. 260 (Decree No. 1035 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan dated December 25, 2019).

1. Draft procedure for identification marking of clothing and textile
As of 1 July 2020, the Russian Government is planning to make identification marking of textiles and clothing (“light industry” goods) mandatory for all importers and manufacturers.
