Ukraine: authorities will not be checking environmental complaints made by organisations

State environmental inspection will only be investigating grounded environmental complaints made by individuals.  The amendment to the procedure for environmental inspection of organisations was introduced by Order No. 101 of 16 March 2016. The amendment provides that a non-scheduled environmental inspection may only be conducted following a complaint of an individual (instead of “an individual or an organization” as before) regarding a breach of his or her lawful rights.

When do the EEU Technical Regulations enter into force in Kyrgyzstan?

The timeframe was set for Kyrgyzstan for the entry into force of EEU Technical Regulations.  It was adopted by Decision No. 11 of 26 January 2016 of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The TRs will become mandatory in Kyrgyzstan on different dates, and the last one to become mandatory is the TR on automotive and aviation fuel which is to become fully mandatory on 12 August 2021.

The TRs are to be enforced in Kyrgyzstan in four “batches”.

EAEU: Cosmetic Technical Regulation Amended

As of 25 January 2017 manufacturers and importers of cosmetic products in the EAEU (the former Customs Union) will have to issue a conformity declaration pursuant to one of the prescribed schemes: 3d, 4d or 6d.
